Good and Bad Drugstore Mascaras!

THESE REVIEWS ARE BASED ON PERSONAL EXPERIENCES.
I AM SIMPLY SHARING MY RECOMMENDATIONS AND INFORMING YOU ABOUT GOOD AND BAD DRUGSTORE MASCARAS.

1. Cover Girl Lash Blast Mascara
Great for smokey eyes, or dramatic looks. Lash Blast will add lengthen and add volume your lashes! . A little goes a long way. =D
Get the waterproof version. I believe the waterproof version lasts longer and the formula is better.
If you have short, stumpy lashes, I definitely recommend this mascara. I got it for $8.99 at Target

2. Cover Girl Lash Exact
This mascara will make your lashes look clean and long. This is perfect for an everyday look. I didn't notice any clumping for flaking. Very nice. Suited for all types of lashes. It separates your lashes and looks beautiful with a matte (or shimmery) neutral eye. I don't remember the price, or where I got it, but you can find it at any drugstore. It couldn't be more than $9. Cons; Won't hold curls as well as Lash Blast (etc), but this mascara is perfect for beginners with makeup or like I said, an everyday look.

3. Cover Girl Volume Exact
This mascara is similar to Lash Exact, but it supports more volume. You may see flaking on your lower lash line. It's similar to Lash Blast, but it does not lengthen or hold the curl as well. It should be similar or the exact price as Lash Exact. Personally, I would get the Lash Exact or Lash Blast instead of the Volume Exact.

4. Cover Girl Exact Eye Lights
Ugh, were can I start? They promise a shimmery finish and to enhance your eye color, but disappointingly, it does neither. Ok, let me rephrase that. I can't say it doesn't have shimmer, but it's very subtle. To me, the shimmer or eye enhancing formula doesn't matter. I just want a mascara that will work. Even as a normal mascara, this product is low quality none-the-less. Cool concept, disappointing product. If you like the concept like I do, read the next product.

5. Last Blast Luxe
Did you notice I've been naming only Cover Girl products? Weird.
I was very disappointed with the Exact Eyelights, so I bought the LB Luxe. I got to admit, this is a much better version of the CG EE. If I were to compare it the the normal LB, the reg LB is better formulated and will make your lashes thicker and longer. It's the same thing exact the luxe has shimmers in it, just like the EE. This mascara works a whole lot better than the Exact Eyelights, and it volumizes your lashes more than it lenghtens them. I like this for a flirty look. It makes you look radiant and beautiful.

Drugstore Foundations. Good and Bad

1. Revlon ColorStay Foundation
I love this foundation.
The coverage is Medium-Full.
It doesn't break your skin out, it gives a satin/dewy finish, and it's a long lasting foundation. HENCE the name.
If you want to use this foundation, but you want a matte finish, I recommend the Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder on top of it.
It will give you a flawless looking face, and your skin's complexion will look flawless.
Most people who buy this foundation have oily skin, but it also comes in dry and normal to combination (and sensitive I believe).
Many say this is a great duplicate of the MAC studio fixed fluid (?)..and I gotta agree!
The Colorstay is better, and cheaper.
The MAC SFF broke me out, and it made me look a little orange.
I got this foundation I believe for like $10 (or close) at Walmart.
The color selection is great, and you will definitely find your exact shade easily.
The only con about this product is that blending is difficult.
You definitely need to take the time blending it into your skin.
The best way for me to apply is with a damp (not soaked) makeup sponge.
A lot of people like applying it with a MAC #187 brush, and holding it by the edges, and stippling it on, but I tried that.
It left a blotchy line look, so I recommend a damp makeup sponge. I definitely recommend a friend.

2. Rimmel Stay Matte
This foundation is perfect if you want a Medium coverage.
It isn't the BEST foundation on the market, but it is great for when you don't need heavy coverage. Personally, I love the matte finish.
It does look blotchy, and the color selection is limited.
But the good thing is even if you don;t get the exact shade, it is easy to blend.
I have normal/dry skin, and this foundation made my skin look oily after about 4-6 hours.
This foundation works differently on different types of people and their specific skin type.
My experience will differ from yours. I would recommend at least trying this foundation, it might work on you.

I will edit every time I try a new foundation! Check back.
